Turkey bombard Kurdish-held towns west of Manbij

The Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have had its towns under its control bombarded by Turkish forces.

Local sources reported that Arima and Kawkali were fired upon with machine-guns and artillery fire on Friday evening.

There were no reported injuries or deaths at this time from the Turkish bombardment.

This latest attack comes as the Turkish army targeted Kurdish positions in Afrin in northwestern Aleppo.
